Extension 'Ligne11'

This 400-meter-long viaduct in front of the steel section, with an 80-meter-long central station, is part of the large project of our client, RATP, to expand line 11 with 5.4km of track and 6 stations north-west of Paris. The viaduct and the station are the only aboveground parts of this extension. It passes the Parc des Guillaume and ends over an entrance and exit complex of the A3 / A86 and then disappears into a tunnel again.
The viaduct consists of a double "caisson" with interconnections and side sections, resulting in a width of 10.6 m. The entire viaduct is supported by 42 pillar in cast iron. The station is composed of PRSs and is being further finished by our partner BYTP. The entire design by Architect Marc Mimram has been chosen from a competition, which emphasizes the importance of this prestigeous project.
