Description

This remarkable project in Canary Wharf, London is a residential 60-storey skyscraper. It will house over 560 apartments. This building is realized as part of the first phase of the new residential development of Canary Wharf.

With a height of 218 meter it will be one of the highest buildings in London. The structure goes all the way up in the shape of a diagrid. This diagrid contains columns that are erected diagonally and are connected through heavy steel nodes. The node- and roof-level floor beams and heavy base plate grillages complete the steel structure.

In total 8.800 tons of steel will be fabricated and erected.
