Fabrication starts on Waterford bridge

Eeklo, Belgium - We're excited to announce that Victor Buyck Steel Construction has commenced the fabrication of the Waterford City Sustainable Transport Bridge at our workshops in Eeklo and Wondelgem.

This new five-span, 8m wide bridge connects the north and south quays in central Waterford and will accommodate pedestrians, cyclists and an electric shuttle bus. A span will accommodate river traffic. The new 207m bridge is a key part of the City and County of Waterford's urban regeneration project, which will extend the center of Waterford across the Suir into the North Quays strategic development zone.
