Viaduc Mantes-La-Jolie

Description:

This viaduct, with a length of 620.95m, is located in Mantes-la-Jolie and is part of an extension of the railway lines from Paris to the west. The viaduct consists of 3 sub-viaducts. The section exists of 2 vertical caissons with spacers (bridge pieces). The height of the box girders is 3.5m, the total width of the viaduct is 8.4m.

The different sections (box elements) will be manufactured in our workshops in Belgium and transported by truck to the construction site in Mantes-la-Jolie. On the assembly site the sections will be pre-assembled with the bridge parts and then handled on temporary piers next to the final piers. After welding and concreting on the temporary structures, the load transfer to the supporting devices will be carried out.

A 125m long part of the viaduct will be installed above the tracks by SPMTs.
